Security Today, the integrated security market product and technology magazine, announced iluminar’s award win in the ‘Intrusion Detection and Prevention Solutions’ category of the The Govies Government Security Awards 2017, to honor outstanding government security products across a variety of categories. Additionally, using a mix of iluminar lighting and bracket solutions allows any true day/night camera to be turned into an LPR camera capable of seeing license plates at distances up to 450ft (136m). Using the IL-LB single wall bracket or the IL-PMB pole mount brackets, with just one illuminator, illumination angles of up to 120 degrees cater for even and enhanced scene coverage for surveillance. This scenario is also effective for ANPR applications with their 10 and 30 degree illuminators. Designed for integration with PTZ and panoramic dome cameras, the Duel IL-DMB dual mounting bracket permits up to 240 degrees of surveillance scene illumination, using just two illuminators. Whilst the Horizon IL-TMB mount enables the deployment of three illuminators, tripling the angle of available LED illumination to provide up to 360 degrees of scene illumination.
