iluminar is pleased to announce that its Horizon, triple mount solution, part of a new range of single and Duel (dual) lighting mount solutions, has won a prestigious Security Today Govie Award.

Security Today, the integrated security market product and technology magazine, announced iluminar’s award win in the ‘Intrusion Detection and Prevention Solutions’ category of the The Govies Government Security Awards 2017, to honor outstanding government security products across a variety of categories.

Providing white light, infrared (IR), or a mixture of the two (hybrid) illumination for static, PTZ and panoramic dome cameras, iluminar’s range of mounting products harness the power of IR and white light to greatly enhance nighttime surveillance camera image quality - to enable highly effective covert and overt surveillance lighting, strategic crime deterrence, and superior license plate recognition (LPR).

Single, Duel & Horizon solutions

Featuring a totally new design and being fully adjustable for ease of installation, the new high-quality iluminar lighting brackets enable installers to mix-and-match illuminators’ angle and distance coverage, to provide superior image quality in low light environments, for wide-area and perimeter protection in combination with iluminar's range of market leading 2-Series LED illuminators.

Additionally, using a mix of iluminar lighting and bracket solutions allows any true day/night camera to be turned into an LPR camera capable of seeing license plates at distances up to 450ft (136m).

Using the IL-LB single wall bracket or the IL-PMB pole mount brackets, with just one illuminator, illumination angles of up to 120 degrees cater for even and enhanced scene coverage for surveillance. This scenario is also effective for ANPR applications with their 10 and 30 degree illuminators.
Designed for integration with PTZ and panoramic dome cameras, the Duel IL-DMB dual mounting bracket permits up to 240 degrees of surveillance scene illumination, using just two illuminators. Whilst the Horizon IL-TMB mount enables the deployment of three illuminators, tripling the angle of available LED illumination to provide up to 360 degrees of scene illumination.

"We’re thrilled to have won a coveted Govie award for the Horizon triple mount lighting solution,” says Eddie Reynolds, President & CEO of iluminar. “iluminar are well known for supplying a comprehensive range of high-performance LED illuminators, but now, with the new range of iluminar single, double and triple mount brackets, installers will be able to combine lighting and mounts to provide greatly enhanced scene coverage to suit any static, PTZ, panoramic dome, or LPR surveillance camera application."

iluminar invite visitors to ISC West to see their award-winning Horizon triple, Duel and single lighting brackets, and 2-Series illuminators in action, at their partner booths Altronix #11073 and Milestone #18053.
