GPM have once again supported Lessian Motors of Ilkley to host the 2017 Ilkley Rally & Run, raising over £1,000 for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People charity.

Starting at 10.30am on Sunday 6^th August, participants gathered at Ilkley Rugby club to sign-on and receive their route instructions. After navigating their way to the historic Falcon Inn in the Yorkshire Dales village of Arncliffe, the crews stopped for a well-deserved lunch break, and then continued a scenic 90-mile route through the Dales. The day ended with a return to Ilkley, where drivers and passengers enjoyed a BBQ and live music into the early evening.

Commenting on the success of the Rally & Run, Graeme Powell, Director of PR & marketing services at GPM said: “Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a national charity and centre of excellence in training hearing dogs to alert deaf people to everyday household sounds and danger signals. GPM is delighted to have helped raise over £1,000 by providing the event’s publicity, website, graphic design and literature print services – all supplied at zero cost.

“I would like to thank the team at Lessian Motors for organising a very enjoyable and successful event, and of course the participants who gave up their time and money to support the charity.”
