Are you thinking about a new website? To get you started, here are some Graeme Powell Marketing (GPM) basic guidelines for successful website design:

Simple tasks, like putting the focus on the essential elements of your website, getting rid of unnecessary copy, reducing the number of pages to the bare bones, ensuring quality content and limiting the colour palette, can all help to ensure high-impact results.

Keep it simple

A simple structure will lead to a site that looks good. Employ easy menu navigation and it will achieve results; such as increased sign-ups, subscribers and above all, sales!

Reduce the number of pages

Don’t keep pages on your website because you think you need to, or because other websites have them. Keeping the number of pages on your website to an essential minimum will ensure it’s easier for visitors to focus on your core content.

Limit your colour scheme

To ensure simple navigation and an easily identifiable corporate identity, the colour palette of your website needs to be considered carefully. Try stick to your basic logo colours for maximum impact and brand recognition.

This may sounds hard, but we can help. GPM’s website design & creation knowledge is here to ensure your marketing messaging is delivered simply and effectively.
